The Union Public Safety Department is responsible for law enforcement,
fire, and animal control services in the City of Union, South Carolina.
Some of the major functions of the Department are:
Criminal Investigations, Drug Investigations, Patrol Services, Arson
Investigation, School Resource Officer Program, Fire Inspections,
Records Management, Animal Control Enforcement
The Department employs 38 employees. All Public Safety Officers
are Certified Class 1 Law Enforcement Officers and are also Certified by
the SC Fire Academy at the Fire Fighter II level or better.
