PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS
Meals on Wheels volunteer drivers are once
again selling chances on a Holiday-Meal-for-Ten, prepared by Midway
Barbecue. Turkey or ham, dressing, vegetables, rolls, and dessert for
all of your family can be yours if you are the lucky winner of the fifth
annual fund raiser for Union's Volunteer Meals on Wheels program.
The winner does not need to be present when
Mike Stevens supervises the drawing on Thursday, November 10, between
9:00 and 9:30 a.m. on WBCU.
Business outlets for tickets include
Wingo's Service Station, Kimbrell's Furniture and Something Special on
Main Street, Mahan's Chiropractic Clinic, Pinckney Place, ST. Paul's
Adult Day Care Center, and Dr. John Baarke's Dental Office from now
until Wednesday, November 9th.
All proceeds help provide meals for Union
and Buffalo's ill and homebound.
